Epoxy pipe coating applies a two-part resin directly to the pipe’s inner wall using spray or centrifugal casting equipment, creating a smooth, continuous barrier that seals corrosion, pinhole leaks, and joint seepage without meaningful loss of bore diameter. It’s the preferred rehabilitation method for aging water distribution systems where cast iron and galvanized steel mains develop internal corrosion and tuberculation — roughness that restricts flow, degrades pressure, and introduces discoloration into the water supply.

The coating eliminates that roughness, restores hydraulic performance, and forms a chemically inert surface certified to NSF/ANSI 61 for potable water contact. No excavation is required, service interruption is limited to a 24–48 hour curing window, and a properly applied coating extends pipe service life by 50 or more years.
